The trip to the River happened earlier than Honey was found. So whatever happened at the River occurred before the Honey time.

Coconuts were gathered later than the Fish. That fixes the relative order of those two foods as Fish first, then Coconuts.

The Meadow was visited at 9:15 AM. So the Meadow’s time is set to 9:15 AM.

Mushrooms were found at 10:20 PM, but not at the Meadow or the Grove. So Mushrooms take the 10:20 PM time and must be placed at a location other than Meadow or Grove.

The Cliffs were visited exactly six hours and ten minutes after the Fish were caught. Looking at the available times, only one pair fits a 6 hours 10 minutes gap: if Fish are at 6:00 AM, then the Cliffs must be at 12:10 PM. Therefore Fish happened at 6:00 AM, and the Cliffs time is 12:10 PM.

Honey was gathered after the trip to the Cave but before the Mushrooms were found. Since Mushrooms are at 10:20 PM, Honey must be earlier than 10:20 PM, and the Cave must be earlier than Honey.

Berries were collected before the Cave trip, but not at 6:00 AM. Since Berries must occur before the Cave and cannot be 6:00 AM (already used by Fish), the only earlier fixed time is 9:15 AM. Because the Meadow is at 9:15 AM, Berries must be at the Meadow at 9:15 AM.

The 2:30 PM trip was not to the River or the Beach. So 2:30 PM belongs to some other location.

The Beach was visited after the Cliffs. Since the Cliffs are at 12:10 PM, the Beach must be at a time later than 12:10 PM.

No Plums were found at the Beach or the River. So Plums must occur at some other location.

The Grove was explored at 6:45 PM. So the Grove’s time is 6:45 PM.

The Plums were found earlier than the Cave was visited. So the Plums time is before the Cave time.

There were not any Berries at the Cliffs. That is already satisfied because Berries are at the Meadow.

Now place the remaining locations and foods using the times we have anchored. Mushrooms are at 10:20 PM and cannot be at the Meadow or the Grove. The Beach must be later than the Cliffs (later than 12:10 PM). The only way to satisfy all of this is to place Mushrooms at the Beach at 10:20 PM.

Honey must be after the Cave but before Mushrooms. The Grove is fixed at 6:45 PM, which lies between any reasonable Cave time and 10:20 PM. Therefore Honey fits naturally at the Grove at 6:45 PM. This forces the Cave to be earlier than 6:45 PM.

The only remaining mid-day time that is still open and not the River or the Beach is 2:30 PM. Because 2:30 PM cannot be the River or the Beach, it fits the Cave. Therefore the Cave was visited at 2:30 PM.

Plums must be earlier than the Cave and cannot be at the River or the Beach. The Cliffs are at 12:10 PM, which is earlier than the Cave’s 2:30 PM and is neither River nor Beach. Therefore Plums were at the Cliffs at 12:10 PM.

Fish are at 6:00 AM. From the earlier River-before-Honey rule and given that Honey is at 6:45 PM, the simplest way to satisfy “the trip to the River happened earlier than Honey” is to place Fish at the River at 6:00 AM.

Finally, Coconuts must be later than Fish. With Fish at 6:00 AM and the Cave at 2:30 PM, the remaining unassigned food and slot are Coconuts at the Cave at 2:30 PM. All conditions now align: River happened before Honey, Beach is after Cliffs, Mushrooms are at 10:20 PM at the Beach, Grove is 6:45 PM with Honey, Berries are at the Meadow at 9:15 AM, Plumbs are at the Cliffs at 12:10 PM, and Coconuts occur after Fish.
