Puzzle 32: The Clan Raft Race

Start with the fixed time gaps. The Driftwood Deck is exactly 49 minutes after the Square Sail. Only 2:12 plus 49 minutes lands on an allowed time (3:01), so the Square Sail is at 2:12 and the Driftwood Deck is at 3:01. Hand Paddles finishes 28 minutes after Push Pole; the only pairing that fits is Push Pole at 2:33 and Hand Paddles at 3:01. That means the Driftwood Deck at 3:01 uses Hand Paddles.

Now link the core builds: Reed Bundles is exactly 21 minutes after Bamboo Lattice; the only fit is Bamboo Lattice at 2:12 and Reed Bundles at 2:33. With 2:12 already the Square Sail slot, the Bamboo Lattice must also be the Square Sail raft. The remaining unassigned core build is Barrel Pontoons, which therefore occupies the remaining time 1:54. Twin Oars finishes 18 minutes before Bamboo Lattice, which pins Twin Oars to 1:54 as well. At this point every time has a unique build and propulsion:
1:54 is Barrel Pontoons with Twin Oars,
2:12 is Bamboo Lattice with Square Sail,
2:33 is Reed Bundles with Push Pole,
3:01 is Driftwood Deck with Hand Paddles.

Place the clans. Ironvale’s raft was neither Bamboo Lattice nor Barrel Pontoons, so Ironvale can only be Reed Bundles (2:33) or Driftwood Deck (3:01). Skyshade did not finish last, so Skyshade cannot be 3:01. Tidalspire did not use Hand Paddles, so it cannot be 3:01 either. Therefore 3:01 must be Ironvale. Neither Emberclaw nor Tidalspire used the Bamboo Lattice, so 2:12 (the Bamboo Lattice) must be Skyshade. Emberclaw finished earlier than Tidalspire, leaving Emberclaw at 1:54 and Tidalspire at 2:33. All constraints now align.

Answers

Emberclaw finished at 1:54 using Barrel Pontoons and Twin Oars.
Skyshade finished at 2:12 using the Bamboo Lattice and the Square Sail.
Tidalspire finished at 2:33 using Reed Bundles and the Push Pole.
Ironvale finished at 3:01 using the Driftwood Deck and Hand Paddles.
