Begin by anchoring the fixed seat roles and pairings. The East seat is the For Survival voter and cast the second vote. The South seat cast the first vote and is the only place the For Trust statement can go, because For Trust cannot sit North or West and East is already For Survival. The West seat voted for Suri and did not use Blue or Red ink. The Black ink voter spoke For Truth, so whoever is Black must be the For Truth voter. Harper sat in the North seat and voted for Finn; this also means the North seat’s vote order is either third or fourth, since South is first and East is second.
Connect the color rules. The Red ink voter spoke For Honor, and the Blue ink voter targeted Suri. The Blue ink voter sat opposite the Red ink voter, and the only viable opposite pair is North–South because West is barred from Blue and Red. Therefore South must be Blue and North must be Red. This immediately sets South’s statement to For Trust in Blue, and North’s statement to For Honor in Red. Because West cannot use Blue or Red, and Black must be For Truth, the West seat must be Black and therefore speaks For Truth. Since the West seat is Black and targeted Suri, the East seat cannot target Suri due to the rule that the East seat and the Black ink vote did not target the same person. A separate rule also states that the Green ink voter and the West seat targeted different people; combined with the earlier deductions, this forces East to be Green, which again keeps East’s target different from West’s target Suri.
Now settle the vote order around Finn and For Honor. Finn’s vote was read immediately before the For Honor vote. We have already placed For Honor at the North seat in Red ink. If North were third, Finn would have to be second, but the second vote is cast by the East seat and East is Suri’s seat or another contestant’s seat, not yet placed; more importantly, the East seat’s statement is For Survival, not For Honor, so third cannot be For Honor. Therefore North must be fourth, and Finn’s vote must be third, immediately before it. With South fixed at first and East fixed at second, the only remaining seat for the third vote is West. Thus Finn must be the West seat voter. This also satisfies the West constraints cleanly: Finn at West uses Black ink, speaks For Truth, and votes for Suri.
Determine who can sit where. We already have Harper at North. Suri cannot be West because West voted for Suri, and Suri cannot be South because South voted for Suri in Blue ink. Therefore Suri must be East, which fits East’s For Survival statement and second vote order. Mina then must be the remaining seat in South, which is consistent with South’s Blue For Trust and the first vote.
Finally assign the last unresolved targets. We know two votes for Suri already exist, from West in Black and from South in Blue. Harper at North must vote for Finn, which is given. Exactly one vote was cast for Harper, so the only remaining voter, Suri at East, must vote for Harper to satisfy that rule. This also respects both constraints tied to the East seat and to Green ink: East’s target is different from West’s target Suri, and the Green voter’s target is different from the West seat’s target.
All statements and colors now align. East is For Survival, South is For Trust, West is For Truth in Black, North is For Honor in Red. Blue targets Suri from the South seat, Red sits opposite Blue at North, West avoids Blue and Red, and the Black ink and East seat targeted different people. The vote order reads South first, East second, West third, North fourth, with Finn’s vote immediately before the For Honor vote. No one voted for themselves.
Answers
Harper – North – 4th – For Honor – Red – Voted For Finn
Finn – West – 3rd – For Truth – Black – Voted For Suri
Mina – South – 1st – For Trust – Blue – Voted For Suri
Suri – East – 2nd – For Survival – Green – Voted For Harper
Suri is eliminated.
